The Veracruz GL is a available in FWD and AWD. They are equipped with the same standard equipment except for the On-Demand AWD feature. The Veracruz is a very well-equipped vehicle with standard fog lights, rear spoiler, air conditioning with rear climate controls, keyless entry, heated front seats, cruise control and rear parking assist, just to name a few. The third row can be used to seat up to seven passengers or can be folded flat when not in use to provide lots of cargo space.
The standard exterior features contribute to Veracruz's attractiveness but most of them also have practical applications. The dark grey lower body side mouldings are an attractive accent, but at the same time protect your paintwork by deflecting stones, salt and grit away from the vehicle. The rear spoiler gives Veracruz a sporty look but also helps keep the rear window clear of blowing debris.
The AWD GLS is Veracruz's top trim level and it adds 18" alloy wheels, heated rear seats and an 8-way power adjustable driver seat, tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel and a power sunroof, among many other features.
All the Veracruz models include a wide array of technolgically advanced safety features including, 4-wheel disck brakes with ABS Braking System, Electronic Stability Control and Traction Control Systems along with 6 air bags.
