After I realized that I talk too much to work in a factory I moved on to selling Honda’s. I quickly progressed from Honda to my home at Fairview Acura in 2009.  When I am not at work (which never feels like work) I am biking, snowboarding, playing hockey and spending time with my family in our new home in Cambridge.

As many of us here in Canada, Sasha also immigrated to Canada.   Coming here in the year of ‘96 at a young age of 12, it didn’t take too long after to learn the language and adapt to the new lifestyle— Some may say it was as seamless as the transition of the B-pillar with the side windows on a 2005 Acura RL!  Since that time, he has made Kitchener/Waterloo his home.

My first job in the automotive industry was washing cars.  After that was it I was hooked and I had started my path to where I am now.  I have had many jobs in the industry including Car Washer, Parts Pro, Inventory Control, Service Advisor, Business Office Support, Vehicle Sales and Sales Manager's Assistant.  I also went to Georgian College in Barrie, ON for Automotive Marketing/Business Admin.  So as you can see I am a “Lifer” and don’t plan on changing it.

After more than 13 years in the Automotive Business I have found my home with Fairview Acura.  Having worked in various positions of the dealership, from Warranty Clerk to Sales Manager, I realized that the Financial Services Manager position best suited me.  One of the best parts of my job is seeing the excitement of clients when they come to pick up their new vehicle.  I’m also very lucky to have the office beside our Sales Manager, Al, who loves to sing along with the radio EVERY day....he has the voice of an angel.

This is my first foray into the automotive industry, from a career perspective – and I must say, I am enthused at the level of honesty, professionalism and integrity displayed here at Kitchener Fairview Acura. I have been here since the fall of 2011, and being pretty new to the business, I am a sponge! I am constantly asking questions to staff both in the service department, shop floor and sales, as well as bugging James (GM).
