Vehicle: 2011 Chevrolet Traverse Twitter account:@dcroutch What did you like about the vehicle? Liked the room it was great for our family, room for the stroller and the kids and the diaper bag. I really liked the ride both on the highway and the streets. It was really comfortable- for en entry level vehicle it was really well equipped. The traverse is really nice because it’s like a cross between a minivan and a truck; it had more room than our minivan. I wouldn’t have picked it because there aren’t a lot of Chev offerings that interest me a lot right now. My wife took it out with it out with friends and she came back and was like “I can really see myself in that!” What didn't you like about the vehicle? The only thing would be the visibility out the back. The design is different than what I’m used to. You get used to driving around things like that. What was your overall impression of the vehicle?I’m a Ford fan not a GM fan and I loved it. I was looking for things to complain about and I couldn’t find any! What was your first impression when you saw the vehicle? Oh, so they’ve given me a base model. That was a great thing. If you get into loaded one, it’s beautiful but it’s so expensive. If I were to buy one I would get the LT for the bucket seats. The bench is good, but if you’re going to have any more than five people you need the “captain chairs”. What did your neighbour / friends say when they saw it parked in your driveway?People were asking a lot about the twitter test drive. Kids fell asleep in it well, they loved the feel of the fabric on the seats! My friend was blown away by how much you got in the base model. His whole family is all really tall and they go on a lot of trips- he tought the traverse was perfect for space and ski gear and tall people. It’s below 35 grand and it’s perfect. My dad liked it from a towing perspective, he liked the power of the engine. My dad said “this is so much more than the sienna!” What did you think of the fit & finish and Ride & Handling? The ride was very quiet. It passed “the scream test” the twins scream when you put them in car seats and then go to open the trunk. I couldn’t hear them through the vehicle. Has this experienced changed or enhanced your opinion of the vehicle / brand you drove?Absolutely. I haven’t driven a Chevy in a very long time and I’m impressed that they’ve stepped up their game again. What do you think about the Twitter Test Drive program? It’s a great program. It allows a consumer like me to really get to feel and know a vehicle that they want to become familiar with. You get an opportunity to spend a few days with it. It gives Schlueter an edge because they have proof of how their vehicles work for people in real life. It makes a lot of sense and more people should do it. Twitter Conversation:@dcroutch: Just finished a great experience with @schlueterauto 's #twittertestdrive. Want to try it yourself? Just give them a tweet! @dcroutch: The wheel flares and bottom design on the #Traverse are very stylish. Looks great up close and far away! #twittertestdrive @dcroutchWow, that commute home was a lot more fun than usual. Only change: 2011 Chevy #Traverse. #twittertestdrive @dcroutchCar seats, check. Double stroller, check. Grocery bags, check. #twins, check. The #Traverse fits families. #twittertestdrive @dcroutchAs a Techie I'm loving this XM radio in the Traverse. Standard equipment by the way! #twittertestdrive
