Exterior

Wrap-around tail lights ensure you’re visible from the back and the sides.
15-inch steel wheels with 7-spoke covers come standard on the Elantra Touring. The GL with Sport Package comes with sportier 17-inch 5-split-spoke alloys.
The Elantra Touring’s 5-door hatch design lets you load passengers and cargo with ease. With five access points, you can make the most of the 3,555 litres of interior space.
Heated, power-adjustable exterior mirrors come standard on all GL models.
The Elantra Touring’s bold styling goes uninterrupted thanks to body colour front and rear bumpers and door handles. Body colour exterior mirrors are standard on the GL and GL with Sport Package.
The brighter side of the Elantra Touring’s multi-focus reflector headlights makes it safer to drive at night.
Fog lights enhance driver visibility – standard on the GL and GL with Sport Package.

The Elantra Touring, Hyundai's new European-designed vehicle, possesses the stylish confidence to match its heritage. With a striking chrome front grille and chrome-accented body colour front and rear bumpers, tinted windows and roof-mounted micro antenna, the Elantra Touring is the ideal combination of style and function.


Interior

The Elantra Touring was conceived from the beginning as a driver’s car. The clarity of the instruments, standard tilt and telescopic steering wheel, and a supportive eight-way adjustable driver’s seat all contribute to a superior driving experience.
The Elantra Touring is the first compact five-door to offer USB/iPod® auxiliary inputs as standard equipment.
For extra clarity, Hyundai’s signature blue LCD lighting technology has been used for the central information display and gauge cluster.
Two-tone interior trim, with special attention to the upholstery fabrics and materials, delivers a more premium feel. Black and beige are the two interior color choices.
Elantra Touring has the most interior volume (passenger volume plus cargo space) of any five-door in its class at 125.5 cubic feet. In fact, Elantra Touring’s cargo capacity is 65.3 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down
Enjoy a sunny day or the night sky under a power tilt-and-slide glass sunroof with one-touch open/close (standard on GL with Sport Package).

It may not be obvious from the outside, but with 3,555 litres, the Elantra Touring's interior volume is one of the largest in its class. From available heated front seats and leather-wrapped steering wheel (GL with Sport Package) to remote keyless entry and alarm (not available on L) and rear seat heater ducts, the Elantra Touring is equipped with the comforts and conveniences that make driving a pleasure.


Mechanical

Built for fun-filled adventure, the Elantra Touring boasts impressive fuel-efficiency on the highway with steering wheel-mounted cruise control (standard on GL models).
The Elantra Touring comes equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission. A 4-speed automatic transmission is available on all models.
The Elantra Touring is powered by a 2.0 L, 16-valve, DOHC, 4-cylinder inline engine with Continuously Variable Valve Timing (CVVT) and 138 horsepower.

 


Safety

Front seat active head restraints are standard on the Touring L with Preferred Package, GL and Sport.
The Touring L with Preferred Package, GL and Sport come with an ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution. During abrupt and hard braking, the brakes are automatically applied and released several times per second to prevent tires from slipping
All models come standard with dual front airbags. The L with Preferred Package, GL and GL with Sport Package also have the added safety of standard front seat-mounted side-impact and rear roof-mounted side-curtain airbags.
