Interior

Available on LT and Sport models, a touch-screen navigation radio helps ensure you have the right map at hand during your travels. And, unlike a paper map, this system has the ability to help you get back on track if you happen to make a wrong turn.
All Equinox LT and Sport audio systems include an Electronically Tuned Receiver and AM/FM stereo with seek-scan, digital clock, Radio Data System technology, auto tone control, automatic volume, TheftLock and an auxiliary input jack for MP3 players.

2008 Chevrolet Equinox is available in the LS, LT & Sport Models. Also with 9 amazing colours including the new Atlantic Blue, Carbon Flash and Traverse Blue.

Integrated roof rack side rails complement the clean, uncluttered styling of Equinox LS, and LT. The design also helps prevent water and snow from entering the vehicle when the door is opened or the window is lowered.

Mechanical

The Equinox Fuel Cell is an electric vehicle that runs on hydrogen instead of petroleum. It produces zero greenhouse gas emissions – only water vapour. The vehicle is now being tested in limited numbers in real-world applications. Coming Soon.
Standard on Sport, a six-speed automatic transmission with a Tap-Up/Tap-Down driver shift control feature on the gear shift lever allows the driver to manually select upshifts and downshifts with a simple push or pull of the shift lever.
Standard on LS, and LT, a 5-speed auto transmission with Adaptive Learning Capability selects various shift points for smooth, consistent shifting. This smooth transition between gears is especially noticeable during acceleration while merging & passing.
The 3.4L V6 engine is standard on LS and LT and generates 185 hp at 5200 and 210 lb.-ft. of torque at 3800 rpm.
Available on-demand all-wheel drive provides added confidence in rainy, snowy, icy and muddy conditions. The system automatically engages when front-wheel slippage is detected, without the driver ever having to press a button.
Equinox LS and LT models feature variable-assist electric power steering that helps provide precise control and responsiveness.
Sport model features 264 hp 3.6L V6 DOCH engine with Variable Valve Timing (VVT) and six-speed automatic transmission with Tap-Up/Tap-Down capability

All Equinox models feature a Tire Pressure Monitor that monitors the air pressure in each of the four tires (except spare). If any tire drops below a specified number, the system will display a warning in the standard Driver Information Center
