Dennis Schlueter

President, Schlueter Automotive Group: For over 30 years, Dennis has been part of the automotive industry in Kitchener / Waterloo. He is a past-president of the Kitchener Waterloo Automotive Dealers Association, as well as a past-president of the Ontario Automotive Dealers Association. He recently completed a term on the General Motors Communication Board. In 2002 he was awarded his 25 Year Dealer Achievement Award with General Motors. Building on his father Harold's start with the Chevrolet franchise, Dennis was instrumental in bringing the Hummer franchise to Waterloo in 2003 as well as the Hyundai franchise in 2006.

Dennis is responsible for the overview, management and strategic direction of the Automotive Group's dealerships and properties. He maintains high level relationships with the Chevrolet, Hummer, Acura and Hyundai Manufacturers and manages all financial aspects of the dealerships. His favourite vehicles are the Chevrolet Avalanche and Z06 Corvette.

Born in St. Mary's Hospital, Dennis is an avid golfer and enjoys almost every sport. His favourite team is the Kitchener Rangers, and he has acted as a Director of the Rangers in the 1980s.

He is happily married and a proud son, father and grandfather.
