Interior

Each half of the standard third-row 50/50 split-folding bench seat can be easily folded flat, providing you with a load floor on one side and room for a passenger on the other
Whether you\'re traveling cross-town or cross-country, a second-row utility tray makes it easy to enjoy meals, play games and more. The second-row tray is available for LT2 only and optional on LT1.
Sit–N–Lift provides convenient access to the passenger–side, second-row seating area. Operated by a handheld remote control, the power seat rotates, then extends out of the vehicle and lowers for easy entry/exit.
Uplander is extremely versatile allowing you to reconfigure and adapt to whatever mix of passengers and cargo you are bringing onboard.
Located behind the third-row bench seat, the removable cargo center makes an ideal storage area for small items. It even includes a water-resistant compartment for swimsuits and other wet items.
Available for LT a 110-volt outlet powers electronic games, a laptop or small TV (not to exceed 150 watts). It\'s optional on LT2 EWB.
Standard in all models, a NEW, auxiliary audio input jack lets you take more of your favorite tunes along for the ride.
AM/FM stereo with CD Player and MP3 play back on all models. 6-disc CD changer is also available in LT models. XM Satellite Radio is standard on LT2 models.
Uplander features a cleverly designed overhead rail system that\'s both entertaining and accommodating. In addition to storage for small items, it comes with a standard rear entertainment system that includes an eight-inch monitor.
Convenient seatback compartments are ideal for storing small items like headphones, a game controller or a remote.
The DVD navigation system* (shown below) available on LT2 with extended wheelbase models uses Global Positioning System technology to accurately locate your vehicle\'s position and assist you with directions to your destination.

 

Exterior

LT in Desert Brown Metallic. Shown with available 17-inch cast- aluminum wheels and standard composite halogen head lamps that feature Automatic Exterior Lamp Control and Daytime Running Lights.
Uplander comes in 2 wheelbases: Regular (RWB) and Extended (EWB). Both share advanced technology that’s now standard on all models, including the StabiliTrak electronic stability control system, traction control, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
Uplander power-sliding side doors. You also get added security and peace of mind knowing they include child security locks. The passenger-side sliding door is standard on LT and the driver-side door requires Power Sliding Door Package.

Available on LT, the rear parking sensors feature both audio and visual signals to help alert you if an object is behind your vehicle.

 

Mechanical

A 3.9L V6 engine with FlexFuel capability is available for all Uplander models. FlexFuel vehicles can run on either gasoline or E85 — a blend of 85% ethanol and 15% gasoline — or a combination of both. And E85 ethanol helps reduce smog-forming emissions.
Uplander’s engine is mated with an electronically controlled four-speed automatic transmission with overdrive.
Uplander\'s 3.9 Liter V6 engine delivers 240 hp at 6000 rpm and 240 lb.-ft. of torque at 4800 rpm.
Every Uplander is equipped with large vented disc brakes at all four corners. Also standard is a 4-wheel anti-lock braking system.

 

Safety

Dual-stage driver and front-passenger air bags are standard on all models. Seat-mounted side-impact air bags are standard on LT2 models and available on LS and LT1 models.
When in reverse the available ultrasonic rear parking aid detects obstacles in your path and activates audio and LED warnings. Available on EWB LT2 models.
The all-speed full-function traction control system controls engine, transmission and brake functions enhancing traction on slippery surfaces. Standard on EWB models.
Made of reinforced steel with vertical pillars, a roof and side-guard beams, the safety cage is designed to remain intact in a collision to protect occupants. The safety cage surrounds the entire passenger compartment of every Chevrolet.

For added safety and comfort, all models seating positions feature 3-point safety belts. The frontal safety belt system includes pretensioners designed to reduce belt slack during a moderate to severe collision to help better restrain front-seat occupants

GM Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 for help with a lockout, jump-start, flat tire change, emergency fuel delivery or towing. Valid during the factory-warranty period anywhere in Canada or the United States.
Base warranty is 3-year/60,000 km* (whichever comes first) plus a 5 year/160,000 km* Powertrain Limited Warranty with no deductible from the original in-service date of the vehicle.
