Standard in all Impala models except LS, dual-zone climate controls let both the driver and front passenger adjust temperature settings independently for maximum individual comfort.
The deep-tinted sunroof tilts up or slides back with the touch of a button. It includes a pop-up air deflector that helps minimize wind buffeting at highway speeds. Requires available Universal Home Remote transmitter. Available on all models except LS.
Available Universal Home Remote transmitter can be programmed to operate your automatic garage door opener. The remote can also control the interior lights in your home with the purchase of a separate receiver. Standard inLTZ, available in 1LT, 2LT & SS
The innovative flip-and-fold-flat rear seats. The 60/40 split-bench seat comfortably accommodates three across without sacrificing passengers comfort. (Optional on the LS & LT; standard on the LTZ & SS models)

Impala SS features a specially designed rear spoiler and the new 18 inch Chrome Aluminum Wheels that adds an aggressive look to the high-performance SS.
Impala SS in Silverstone Metallic with bodily styled, exclusive front grille and standard fog-lamps.
Impala’s body-coloured, body-side moldings are optional on all models.
Impala styling includes composite headlamps with a premium, jewel-like appearance. They also feature a four-bulb high beam configuration with halogen lamps.
"Flat" windshield wiper blades on all models are preformed to the shape of the windshield for consistent pressure. This minimizes streaking and wind noise.
Impala offers six wheel choices, depending on the model you choose. From the 16 inch bolt-on full wheel covers (standard on the LS) to the 18 inch machine-aluminum wheels (standard on the SS), also available with chrome (optional).

Mechanical

3.5L LZE Engine (E85 FlexFuel) becomes standard engine in the LS and LT.
A lightweight, yet stiff, extruded-aluminum engine cradle helps to isolate road noise and powertrain vibration from the passenger compartment.
SS models feature the sporty look of polished stainless-steel dual exhaust tips.
Active Fuel Management uses all cylinders when you want more power; only half the cylinders when you need better mileage.
NEW for 2008 — LTZ models feature more aggressive spring rates, a larger 34mm front stabilizer bar and 18mm solid rear stabilizer bar. This suspension is tuned for crisp handling using the 18-inch W-speed–rated Performance tires.
LS features a four-gauge analog cluster with speedometer, tachometer, coolant temperature, fuel gauge, and Driver Information Center (DIC) including a GM Oil Life Monitor and Tire Pressure Monitor.

  

Safety

Dual air-bags for driver and front-passenger,
StabiliTrak helps a driver prevent skids and slides that can happen in an emergency. The system continuously monitors such factors as a vehicle\'s speed and side-to-side movement. Standard on LTZ and SS.
Head-curtain, side impact air bags are designed to help reduce the risk of head injuries to front and rear seat outbound occupants on the near side of curtain side-impact collisions.
OnStar uses advance communications technology to enhance your safety, security and convenience.
Available Electronic Traction Control with ABS features corner brake control (CBC).. Standard on 2LT, LTZ and SS.

Base warranty is 3-year/60,000 km* (whichever comes first) plus a 5 year/160,000 km* Powertrain Limited Warranty with no deductible from the original in-service date of the vehicle.
