Interior

Variety of Cobalt’s interior seating options
The Radio Data System-enabled (RDS) radio displays information such as artist and song title and allows you to seek by program type. It functions only where stations broadcast RDS information. This audio system is available on LT and Sport models.
XM Satellite Radio is standard on the all Sport models and is available to the LS & LT models.
The power, tilt-sliding sunroof can be adjusted to tilt open or open all the way for that top-down feeling. It also includes mirror map lights. Available on 2LT and Sport models.
Sport and LT models give you the convenience of a trunk cargo net. It helps keep smaller items or a few bags of groceries from sliding around in your trunk.

Wraparound halogen headlamps are standard on every Cobalt. These include Daytime Running Lamps, a safety feature that helps make your vehicle more visible to other drivers during the day.
A new Chrome Exterior Package is available on LT sedan models and includes a chrome grille, body-side moldings and door handles
Cobalt features a strong foundation, in part to the use of Quiet Steel laminated sheetmetal, a premium material not normally found on vehicles in the compact segment. The strong foundation also enhances occupant protection.

Mechanical

The engine isn’t only powerful, its exceptionally fuel-efficient, with 9.2L/100 km city and 5.9L/100 km highway ratings.
The 171 hp 2.4L ECOTEC I-4 VVT engine is standard on sport models. It features variable valve timing that optimizes combustion timing to deliver 90 percent of its peak torque at just 2400 rpm for excellent responsiveness.
The 148 hp 2.2L ECOTEC I-4 engine is standard on LS and LT models. All Cobalt engines feature a long-life spark plugs that are designed to last 166,000 km before replacement and DEX-Cool engine that last 5 years or 240,000 km.
Paired with 17-inch Sport tires, Tuned Sport suspension (standard on Sport models) uses monotube rear shocks to give you an even crisper response.

GM Roadside Assistance is available 24/7 for help with a lockout, jump-start, flat tire change, emergency fuel delivery or towing. Valid during the factory-warranty period anywhere in Canada or the United States.
Base warranty is 3-year/60,000 km* (whichever comes first) plus a 5 year/160,000 km* Powertrain Limited Warranty with no deductible from the original in-service date of the vehicle.
