An RS appearance package is available on LT and SS. It includes HID headlamps with integrated halo rings, a rear spoiler on LT, specific taillamps and 20-inch wheels with a Midnight Silver finish.

On SS models, a simulated air intake is located in the upper front fascia and the lower air intake is larger.

All models also feature the classic “V” design motif in the nose, along with a 63.5 mm (2.5-inch) power dome in the aluminum hood, reminiscent of high-performance Camaro models.

The two-door sports coupe features classic proportions over a 2,852 mm wheelbase. The overall length of the Camaro is 4,836 mm; width and height are 1,918 mm and 1,376 mm, respectively.

With a design that is very close to the original concept, the 2010 Camaro acknowledges its heritage from the first-generation Camaro, produced from 1967 through 1969.

Combining great looks, performance and advanced technology, the 2010 Camaro honours its heritage while delivering on customer expectations of a sports coupe for the 21st century.

Aggressive Design

The 2010 Camaro is designed to get noticed. Sleek exterior lines celebrate Camaro's history but also create a whole new modern appeal. Inside, aggression gives way to refinement with a deeply recessed instrument panel, bright-trimmed controls, low-gloss surfaces, and premium fabric and acrylic appliqués.

Interior

Inside the four-passenger cabin, a well-executed balance of heritage, modern design and attention to detail conveys simplicity and refinement with contemporary details in the cluster, switches, dials and lighting.

An available ambient light package, for example, offers advanced LED light pipe technology, giving the cabin a distinctive glow.

All models include a three-spoke steering wheel with manual tilt/telescope adjustment. Bluetooth and USB port are part of the available Driver Convenience and Connectivity package.

A single-CD radio with six speakers is standard on LS, LT and SS models. A premium, 245-watt Boston Acoustics nine-speaker audio system can be ordered on 1LT and SS models. XM is standard on all models.

Cargo capacity can be increased with the standard fold-down rear seat. The capacity of the trunk is 320 litres (11.3 cubic feet)

An optional, console-mounted gauge package includes oil pressure, oil temperature, volts and transmission fluid temperature. The gauge package is included on 2LT and 2SS models.

Cloth upholstery is standard and leather-appointed seats are included on 2LT and 2SS models.

Mechanical

Camaro LS and LT models feature a 3.6L engine with variable valve timing to optimize performance and fuel economy. It is rated at an estimated 300 horsepower and 273 lb.-ft. of torque.

A six-speed manual transmission is standard with the 3.6L engine; a Hydra-Matic 6L50 electronically controlled six-speed automatic, with TAPshift control, is available.

Camaro SS is equipped with a powerful 6.2L V-8, with a choice of a six-speed manual automatic transmission. Manual models pair the LS3 engine, ETA at 422 horsepower and 408 lb.-ft. of torque, with a TR6060 six-speed transmission.

L99 V-8 engine it is estimated at 400 horsepower and 395 lb.-ft. of torque and is matched with a Hydra-Matic 6L80 six-speed transmission. (Camaro SS)

Powerfully Efficient

A standard 3.6L, 304 HP, V6 engine with VVT and DI offers a whole new kind of power - the efficient kind. And for those who like to kick it up a notch, an available 6.2L 426 HP V8 adds even more pedal to the metal prowess. Add front and rear independent suspensions and available Active Fuel Management® on the 400 HP 6.2L V8 engine, and you've got a ride that's light years ahead of the competition

Standard 4-wheel antilock, 4-wheel disc Brakes, StabiliTrak® stability control system with traction control and Tire Pressure Monitoring System.

Camaro also features standard Daytime Running Lamps, LATCH (Lower Anchors and Top Tethers for CHildren) system, Remote Keyless Entry and one year OnStar Safe & Sound Plan
