Interior

The 3+4 seating concept seats four passengers in the first two rows while offering comfortable seating for 3 additional passengers (one in the 2nd and two in the 3rd rows) when necessary.
The cockpit environment of the MDX is focused on the driver with a host of technologies to make driving more rewarding and relaxing.
The driver’s seat features a 10-way power seat with power lumbar support, electronic tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel and 2-position memory system.
The front passenger enjoys an 8-way power heated seat.
All passengers will appreciate the Tri-Zone automatic climate control system and 2nd row heated outboard seats.
MDX features a 253-watt Acura Premium Sound System with AM/FM tuner, 6-disc in-dash CD, MP3/WMA changer and 8 speakers including 8-inch subwoofer and XM Satellite Radio.
An auxiliary jack for personal audio devices is also included as part of the standard features.
The Technology Package includes a Acura Navigation System, rear-view camera and upgraded 410-watt 10-speaker Premium Sound System.
The Elite package adds a rear DVD Entertainment System and remote power-operated tailgate.

A power moonroof with tilt and auto open/close is standard on all models.

The Elite package includes an exclusive alloy wheel design, roof side rails, power tailgate, Active Damper System and auto-leveling Xenon HID headlights.
The heated outside mirrors feature reverse gear tilt-down and integrated LED directional signal lights.
The distinctive grille reflects a fresh look for Acura SUVs and careful aerodynamic tailoring reduces drag noise.
The MDX is equipped with High-Intensity Discharge low-beam headlights with headlight washers.
Its dramatic styling utilizes large surface areas, sweeping curves and decisive angles.

 

Mechanical

The MDX has an all-new chassis to complement its 300 hp VTEC V-6 engine and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.
The MDX is at home off-road, where its excellent engine torque, responsive suspension and generous ground clearance enable it to cross-step through rough terrain with ease.
The MDX features 2,268 kg (5,000 lb) towing rating, standard trailer pre-wiring, high-capacity radiator with twin cooling fans, ATF cooler and Trailer Stability Assist.
The current MDX maintains the same weight as the previous generation in spite of new features and added content.
The MDX is manufactured in Alliston, Ontario.

Passengers are protected by side impact door beams and impact-absorbing front and rear crumple zones.
4-wheel ABS with Electronic Brake Distribution and Brake Assist is standard on all models
LATCH child-seat mounting system in the second row seats.
Front seats feature 3-point adjustable-height seat belts and all seating positions have 3-point seat belts.
All three rows are protected by side curtain airbags with rollover sensor.
