This indicator comes on when there is a system message on the multi-information display. Press the INFO button on the steering wheel to see the message.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. If it comes on at any other time it indicates there is a problem with the system. You will also see a “Check Keyless Access System” message on the multi-information display. Have your vehicle checked at an Acura dealer.

When the indicator is on the ECPS is turned off and it may be harder to steer the vehicle.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. If it comes on at any other time there is a problem with the SH-AWD system. You will also see a message on your multi-information display. Take your vehicle to a dealer to have it checked.
If the indicator blinks while driving pull to the side of the road when it is safe and shift to park and let the engine idle until the indicator goes off. When the light comes on while driving It indicates the differential temperature is too high.
Note: Continuing to drive while the SH-AWD indicator is blinking may cause serious damage to the system.
If this indicator comes on while driving it means one or more of your tires are extremely low on pressure. You will also see a message on your multi-information display. If this happens pull to the side of the road when it is safe to do so and check on the multi-information display which tire has lost pressure. Then check that tire because it may be flat and need to be repaired.
This indicator comes on when your fog lights are turned on.
This indicator comes on when you turn on your high beam headlights.
This indicator comes on when you engage the cruise control system.
On models equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control this indicator will come on green when you push the ACC button on the steering wheel. If the indicator comes on orange there is a problem with the system. You will also see a message on your multi-information display. Take your vehicle to your dealer to have it checked.
The low fuel indicator is in the fuel gauge. It comes on as a reminder to refuel soon. You will also see a message on your multi-information display. When the light comes on there is approximately 10.0L of fuel remaining in the tank before the needle reaches E. There is a small reserve of fuel remaining gin the tank when the needle does reach E.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. If it comes on and stays on at any other time there is a problem wit the system. You will also see a message on your multi-information display. Take your vehicle to an Acura dealer to have it checked. Without VSA your vehicle still has normal driving ability but will not have VSA traction and stability enhancements.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’
This indicator has three functions:
1. It comes on as a reminder that you have turned off the VSA system
2. It flashes when the VSA is active
3. It comes on along with the VSA system indicator if there is a problem with the VSA system.
The left or right turn signal blinks when you use your signal. If the indicator does not blink or blinks rapidly it usually means one of the turn signal bulbs is burned out. Replace the bulb as soon as possible.
When you press the hazard warning button both turn signals blink and all turn signals on the vehicle flash.
This reminds you that the exterior lights are on. It will also come on when the light switch is in AUTO and the lights turn on automatically. A reminder chime will also sound when you open the driver’s door.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. It will then go off if you have a properly coded remote. If it is not a properly coded remote the indicator will blink and the engine will not start.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’ and when the ignition is turned to START position. If it comes on at any other time there is a problem with the ABS. Take your vehicle to an Acura dealer to be checked. With this indicator on you still have normal braking functions but no anti-lock function.
This indicator has two functions:
1. It is a reminder to release the parking brake. Driving with the parking brake not fully released can cause serious damage. A beeper will also sound if you drive with the parking brake not fully released.
2. If it stays on after you have fully released the parking brake it can indicate a problem in the brake system. You will also see a message on your multi-information display.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. If it comes on at any other time it indicates that the passenger’s side airbag has been automatically turned off.
This indicator normally comes on for a few seconds when you turn the ignition switch to ‘ON’. If it comes on at any other time it indicates a potential problem with your airbag system. Have the system checked by an Acura dealer.
The engine can be severely damaged if this indicator flashes or stays on when the engine is running or if a CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL message is on the multi-information display.
If this indicator comes on when the engine is running, the battery is not being charged.
